The Smash Burger and Classic Cheeseburger offer a comforting, hearty option that satisfies cravings with every bite, while the Chicken and Waffles provide a delightful play on sweet and savory.
Salads here go beyond the ordinary; The Grille’s Chop Chop Salad is a generous family-size portion layered with bacon, egg, onion, croûtons, and Swiss cheese dressed in creamy buttermilk, perfect for sharing or a light meal. Add-ons like organic chicken or tenderloin let you customize your dish further. The Derby Cobb Salad and Caesar Salad balance freshness with rich flavors, giving you a wholesome, vibrant salad experience.
What truly sets Cedar Creek Grille apart is not just the food, but the complete dining experience. Marcel Wade’s praise of the accommodating service and easy-to-relax ambiance perfectly captures the inviting vibe—whether it's Sunday brunch or a date night, the atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation without the noise. Shawn Gorey’s highlight of the personable server “Cheesecake Dave” shows the genuine hospitality that enriches every visit.
Families will feel welcomed here too, as Barbara Chen's story demonstrates—a party with diverse dietary needs was thoughtfully accommodated without reservation. This attentiveness extends to every guest, ensuring an inclusive and pleasant experience.
For those who appreciate a hand-crafted cocktail, Cedar Creek’s bar impresses with offerings like The Grille Manhattan and the Pear Lychee Martini, each as artful as they are delicious, perfectly complementing your meal. Whether sipping on a Makers Mark Manhattan or indulging in freshly prepared crab cakes and angel hair pasta, the dining journey here is a celebration of quality and flavor.
Price-wise, Cedar Creek Grille offers a balanced value for the exceptional quality and atmosphere, though as Shae Carter notes, some might find a few dishes on the higher side. However, the consistent excellence in food and service makes every penny worthwhile.
In essence, Cedar Creek Grille is much more than a restaurant—it is a destination for culinary delight and warm hospitality in Beachwood. Whether you're craving perfectly seared steak, fresh seafood, or creative cocktails, this gem offers a memorable experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
Great food and service. Mashed potatoes so yummy, oysters and dipping so good.steak cooked perfectly.
Excellent food, great service, classy atmosphere. We got the Really Good Bread, the Firecracker Shrimp, the Best Coleslaw Ever, the Braised Short Rib, and the PRIME New York Strip. It was all delicious. The Shrimp was spicier than expected, but still great. The meat was tender, moist, and cooked to perfection. Cheesecake Dave took great care of us, was personable, polite, and funny. The atmosphere was dark, clean, classic, and romantic.
My bestie and I went here to catch up.I’ve never been here before but Mike was a great server. I had the trout and she had the veggie burger. I’ve had trout many times, but never prepared like this. I thoroughly enjoyed. I do feel it’s slightly over priced but I recommend and I’ll return
I had taken my nieces and nephews and their parents to the Lego store at the Beachwood mall. It was lunchtime so we looked for a place nearby. Cedar Creek Grill looked promising. Finding a place to eat is challenging Because one of my nephews and my niece have significant food allergies. We did not have reservations, but the cedar Creek Grill accommodated our party of six. The waiter, Joe D., was outstanding. He wrote down all of the allergies and addressed our concerns. He went back to the kitchen to make sure that the food could be prepared to specifications for safe consumption by the children. Everything came out perfect. His service technique is as good as those who work at a five star restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the cedar Creek Grill tempura shrimp roll. I recommended highly. It was flavorful and a large portion good for a meal in itself. Everything was very reasonably priced. Two thumbs up for this restaurant, it’s cooks, and it’s staff. I look forward to visiting again.
Service was very accommodating. Sunday brunch menu was a nice mix. Drinks were good. Good came in a timely manner. Ambiance was nice. Easy to talk and not be too loud. Would definitely do a couples date night or group outing.
Excellent, delicious food. Everything was also presented well enhancing the each entrée. Very friendly and good service. First time eating at this restaurant. We went during dinnertime on Good Friday. The place was very busy, but we were seated right away. Only 2 drawbacks, 1. It is very dark inside during the dinner rush and 2. They charge club soda as a soft drink.
What a great date night spot. We went on a Friday night, on a whim after a reservation we had across the street at another restaurant did not go as planned. We were greeted and seated instantly. Our server Joe was very knowledgeable and accommodating and made our experience even better. Steak could have used a little more flavor but everything else was 10/10. I got the 8 oz filet with mashed potatoes and Brussels the Brussels were so amazing. My boyfriend got the smash burger which was also 10/10.
I haven’t been here in a long time, I wasn’t sure I was going to like the dish I ordered as I usually go for steaks but was feeling like choosing something else and their menu isn’t so expansive (not a bad thing) but I settled on the pan roasted half chicken served with mashed potatoes and au jus. I ordered it crispy because I prefer it that way and they absolutely nailed it. This was beyond delicious and had some serious homemade flavor to it and gourmet at the same time. I was very impressed. The ambience is perfect-upscale yet casual, it wasn’t crowded, cozy and low light, not noisy, plenty of room at the bar for me to have space and enjoy my meal in peace and quiet. I will be back for more!
